On Saturday, May 17th, St. Andrew’s Cathedral will host a Stewardship Training for the entire Diocese from 9:00am until Noon. Conducting the training will be Terry Parsons, Staff Officer for Stewardship for the Episcopal Church.

The training, “Whys and Hows of Good Stewardship”, is best described this way:

It used to be that stewardship season came in the fall. Some things about that worked, and some things didn’t. Now they keep talking about this thing they call “year-round stewardship.” Good Grief!!! Not only do I need to know How to do this but could someone remind me WHY! On May 17, in a day of asking, teaching and imagining, we can’t promise all the answers but you can bet we’ll do our best to let you leave with some new ideas to help you and your congregation use the gifts God has given you to do the work God has given you to do.
