All Saints, St. Mark's, St. Christopher's, and St. Alexis of Jackson, MS are hosting a Commemoration of the Life of Medgar Evers at...

All Saints Episcopal Church in Jackson on Sunday, June 8, 2008.

There will be a Eucharist using a special Liturgy of Racial Reconciliation beginning at 5:00 p.m.  Bishop Gray will be the celebrant and Governor William Winter will preach.  The music for the service will feature the combined choirs and musicians of the host churches.

Following the service, there will be a celebratory barbeque/covered dish supper with live music.

This event is open to the public, and all Episcopalians are invited.
